Toronto - Kensington Market

In downtown Toronto you can find one of the city’s oldest and most multi-cultural neighbourhoods. With an eclectic mix of people and shops, and a tradition that dates back to the early 20th century, ‘The Market’ has avoided the developer’s wrecking ball and maintains its charm and integrity. It’s claimed that there are more fruit and vegetables on sale here than anywhere else in the world as well as several cheese shops, ethnic restaurants and cafes, and cheap discount stores.

Kensington Market was declared a National Historic Site in 2006 and is a popular draw for tourists.
