Toronto - CN Tower

The CN Tower is the defining structure of the Toronto skyline and, from its construction in 1975 until September 2007 (when it was overtaken by the uncompleted Burj Dubai), was the tallest free standing structure in the world - standing over 550 metres tall. The tower is a popular tourist destination and attracts some 2 million visitors a year. Facilities include a revolving restaurant, café, gift shop and observation deck as well as ‘Sky Pod’ - the world’s highest observation deck, where on a clear day, it’s possible to see for over 100 kilometres.

The entire structure is lit from dusk until 2am by over 1300 LED lights.
