Montreal - Redpath Natural History Museum This small but perfectly formed museum contains important fossil collections and geological collections. Built in the neo-classical style, the museum is one of the oldest in Canada. Of particular note at the Redpath Museum are the ethnology exhibits. Several mummies are housed here along with Egyption pottery, stoneware and a cast of the Rosetta stone. Other permanent exhibits include dinosaur skeletons, ancient sea creatures and some of the earliest land plants. The Redpath museum Belongs to McGill University and organises a series of lectures, tours and events as well as public seminars and outreach lectures.
